At the beginning of 2024, we stepped out of China and entered the Vietnamese market. Based on the local species (DLY: slow update), feed nutrition (high protein and high energy), types of raw materials (fish meal with poor quality), and breeding conditions (high temperature and humidity), we applied the protein nutrition strategy for nursery pigs to develop new solutions. Then we carried out strict comparative evaluations under Vietnamese breeding conditions and obtained results highly consistent with those in our domestic market.

1、 Protein nutrition solutions for nursery feed.
2、Trial Evaluation Plan for nursery pigs
Evaluation Pig Farm: XXX Pig Farm in Vietnam (1000 sows).
Evaluation Period: From December 26, 2023, to February 3, 2024, a total of 40 days.
Feeding frequency: Feed four times a day, at 7:30 and 10:00 in the morning, and 13:30 and 16:30 in the afternoon, feed in fixed quantities according to the farm management. ²
Evaluation Indicators: The initial and final number of pigs, weight, daily feed amount, number of pigs with diarrhea; comparison photos of the appearance of the pig herd and feces.
3.Application Effect of the New Solution
3.1 Improve weight gain, reduce feed conversion rate (reflecting faster growth and higher feed utilization)
The total weight gain of 300 nursery pigs in group B increased by 145 kg, the feed to meat ratio decreased by 0.04, and the meat production cost decreased by 0.2 yuan/kg. (That means we can have an additional benefit of 2,030 yuan when the price is 14 yuan/kg, and yield an additional 203,000 yuan based on the average slaughter of 30,000 pigs per year).

3.2 Reduce the number of diarrhea pigs and frequency of diarrhea (reflecting a healthier intestine)
Group B: The total number of diarrhea was reduced by 61 and the number of diarrhoea days was reduced by 8 days.
3.3 The color of the manure is darker and the smell of ammonia is lighter (indirectly reflecting more sufficient digestion and absorption of feed)
Group B: The color of the manure is darker, indicating that the nutritional components of the feed are more fully digested and absorbed.
Group A: The pungent smell of the manure is heavier, indicating that the protein in the feed is not fully digested.
3.4 Reduce the number of deaths (reflecting a healthier body)
No pigs died in group B, while 2 pigs died in group A.
3.5 Increase the vitality of the pig herd (indirectly reflecting a healthier intestine and stronger feeding desire)
Group B: The pig herd has high vitality, indicating improved digestion and absorption capacity, and stronger feeding desire! If the pig farm adopts a free-feeding method, the expected feed intake of the new plan group will increase, and the weight gain will be further improved.

4.Application Value of the New Plan
Nursery feed for internal pig farm: The new plan can reduce the formula cost by 30 yuan/ton, increase the total weight gain by 145kg, reduce the feed conversion rate by 0.04, and reduce the meat production cost by 0.2 yuan/kg.
Nursery feed for external selling: On the basis of reducing the formula cost, the new plan can improve intestinal health of piglets, reduce diarrhea and improve the color of feces and the smell of ammonia, enhance the vitality of the pig herd, and improve the market competitiveness of feed products.
